Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Atlas Node accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data for its private personal Gmail monitoring integration.
Scope
Atlas Node is a privately operated personal assistant system. It is not offered as a public service and does not accept public user registrations.
Google data accessed
Atlas Node requests Gmail read-only access for accounts explicitly authorized by the operator. This may provide access to Gmail message metadata, message content, labels, and account profile information required to identify and process newly received email. The current workflow does not read email attachments for AI classification.
How Google data is used
Google user data is used only to provide the private Gmail monitoring function requested by the operator: detecting new messages, local triage, minimizing selected message content, classifying relevance or urgency, and surfacing important notifications. Google user data is not used for advertising, advertising profiling, sale, or unrelated purposes.
AI processing
Atlas Node performs local filtering before selected email content is sent for AI classification. The current workflow excludes attachments and quoted thread history, removes URLs and certain likely sensitive values where possible, and limits the amount of message content included in the classification request. Only messages that pass local review are eligible for AI classification.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials and operational Gmail processing data are stored on private infrastructure controlled by the operator. Sensitive credential files are restricted at the operating-system level. Operational metadata, processing records, selected message content, and classification results may be retained for system operation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and audit purposes until removed or rotated through system maintenance.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold. Selected minimized message content may be transmitted to the configured AI model provider solely to perform relevance and urgency classification. Notification metadata may be delivered to private communication destinations configured by the operator.
Gmail permissions
Atlas Node currently uses Gmail read-only access. It does not use Gmail authorization to send email, delete messages, move messages, modify labels, or mark messages as read.
Revoking access and deletion
The operator can revoke Atlas Node's Google access at any time from Google Account permissions. The operator can also delete locally stored OAuth credentials and Gmail processing records from the private Atlas infrastructure.
Limited Use
Atlas Node's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving the user-facing functionality described in this policy and is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
